Sustainable Agriculture Travel & Slow Travel is the first international exhibition, dedicated the promotion of rural and slow tourism reaching its third edition (17th, 18th, 19th February) with a new and even more original format, in order to celebrate the 2017, the International Year Of Sustainable Tourism for Development, characterizing topic for the exhibition. Slow Tourism promotes the concept of slow tourism, the journey experienced by foot, bicycle, equine animals, a form of travel where the goal is not the destination, but the inner journey during the trip. Accessible tourism: design for all, ways and abilities to adapt structures designed to welcome people with disabilities, sensorial journeys and creative experiences, case history about the organization of Tourism.

New models of travel are helping to support the rural tourism development which describe contemporaneity and they have strong connections with concepts like life quality, sustainability and contact with nature. This is the slow tourism, linked to a deep knowledge of territory thanks to slow way of travel like strolls, trekking, cycling holiday, mountain and hill itineraries, water travels, spiritual itineraries to discover a location most intimate aspects linked to the culture, excellences and landscape.

Bergamo 17th – 19th February 2017 Agriculture Travel & Slow Travel Expo has a purely commercial purposes but has as main objective the creation of networks and shared programs between the participants in order to facilitate the exchange of know -how, experience and the search for mutually beneficial solutions in the development strategies related promotion through tourism, with particular attention to the specific international agribusiness as a marketing tourism, to the future energy and the green economy as key elements for a sustainable development of the Earth.The event in fact involves public, private, national and international entities, and it’s aimed at both the public and the operators of the various sectors and categories of entrepreneurs. Here it emerges the function that the event takes place which brings access to international markets.
AGRICULTURE, CULTURE, TOURISM, SOUSTAINABILITY and FOCUS ON FOOD: these are the key words leading Agri Travel & Slow Travel exhibition. Food plays the leading role representing a powerful factor of cultural identity capable of describing places through stories, traditions, economy and agricultural production.
