What’s Organic – Biological Food?
Organic food means an healty food grown using organic farming, so without preservative and without additive. Organic farming provides for the employees care products or fertilizers and only natural fertilizers. This type of agriculture was born some thirty years ago in Latin America and is now spreading like wildfire in Europe and in many countries of the world.
It draws from agriculture bio and bio dynamic property, with the aim of regenerating the soil by means of the cultivation, so to make it fruitful without ever upset with enemy nature of the techniques.
It is an agricultural technique that base is cheap, as only employs products of natural origin, but that because of the condition of the market and of low production proves infinitely more expensive than the normal agriculture, at least on a massive scale. An example of bio farming can be the use of certain plants macerated to eliminate pests of plants. Natural techniques, then, but time and love, characteristics that are often lacking in the traditional market.
Why eating organic food?
Eating biological food is important for several reasons. First of all because it’s good for our health. In addition, it is tastier than the classic food. Finally, the organic food protects the environment and the planet. Organic food is a healthy food because it contains no pesticides.
These harmful substances are difficult to remove with water on the surface of fruits and vegetables. Especially in fruit with delicate skin, such as cherries, raspberries and blueberries.
