Organic food – Sun dried tomato
Dried tomatoes in extra virgin organic olive oil are ideal to enrich your aperitifs, your rice salads and soups. Also try them to enrich the sauce. The Dried Tomatoes are exclusively of Italian organic agriculture. It is a round tomato, soft and leathery skin does not, grown in the southeast of Sicily. During the months of July, August and September, our tomatoes are cut in half and when placed on trays lined fields are sprinkled with sea salt and left to dry for a week. The slow drying under the Sicilian sun gives our tomatoes an intense ruby red color and a strong and inimitable taste. They are seasoned and flavored with extra virgin organic olive oil, garlic, oregano, parsley and chilli.
